Beautiful Chaos - Cecchini Unleashes Balls on the Spanish Steps

Life inspires Art - Art inspires Art, and in the latest display by Guerilla Artist Graziano Cecchini, commercials inspire art too.

The latest stunt took place on Wednesday January 16 when thousands of brightly colored fast-food-restaurant-ball-pit balls were release from the top of the Spanish Steps in Rome.

The result was beautiful, the bright colors pop so vibrantly against the subdued gray hues of what is heralded the longest and widest staircase in all of Europe.

If not meant to pay homage to last years award winning Sony Bravia spot, it had to be in the least a source of inspiration for the artist.

Cecchini stirred controversy just months ago when he managed to dye the waters of Rome's famed Trevi Fountain the color of blood.
