Visual Hybrid's Time Machine

The Time Machine is a short film directed by Paul Stevenson aka visual-hybrid. It was shot in camera with one roll of Super 8mm film. A mix of timelapse and stop motion, this experiment has a sweet carefree air to it - and something a little bit vintage and familiar too. I wish I could have been on set to take part, more than anything it looks like it was fun.

Paul is an inspiring experimental filmmaker and artist with work for the BBC motion gallery and music videos on his reel, which you can check out here. I know I've used the word experiment a number of times in this post but it really does describe visual-hybrid's creations, though I might add sophistication too. Can't wait to see what Paul does next.
