I have to admit I've been eying the change jar a little more often than normal recently. PES brilliantly illustrates the possibilities with his stop motion expertise for Coinstar.

Could You Beat PES at Scrabble?

I have to admit, with talent like his I'd be intimidated. In his newest project PES lends his stop-motion skills to the classic word building board game Scrabble. I dunno - racing is a pretty killer first word.

Western Spaghetti From PES

Speaking of Stop Motion Animation, the genius that is PES has recently completed a new short film, "Western Spaghetti."

Chock full or retro trinkets and everyday items "Western Spaghetti" had me wide eyed and smiling for almost 2 minutes straight. So good, I love the butter. Thanks to Motionographer to spreading the word!

Eat Pes!

I didn't know what to write about today, so I thought I'd just share a favorite bit of film. Kaboom! is one of my all time favorite stop motion animation pieces, by the eccentric and endlessly creative filmmaker PES.
For Kaboom! PES uses found, vintage and household objects to enact the air bombing of a capital city.
