Type Tree

so, at some point last year while scouring craiglist for art submissions or design gigs i sent some of my projects to a little zine. well, it finally came out and i was shocked to see not only did they use my piece but they made it the cover?!

it's something small i know - but to me it is huge in the way of confidence in my creations, like, that they must look at least interesting to someone else for them to select it and slap it on a cover, right? well thats how i take it and i'm proud. The tree on the left was the selected design.

Recession in Suburbia

I happened upon this sight in a shopping mall late one night while running an errand with Mike. I thought there was something beautiful and at the same time obviously depressing about the scene, all of the shiny white forms just sitting there naked and colorless, and like so many of us - unemployed. The fact that they were still wearing their shoes made it that much creepier.

Two If By See Design

I recently finished a logo/branding project for a dear friend, director/writer/editor Samah Tokmachi. Samah is using the logo to help brand his film identity Samah Cinema. What do you think?

Boston your my home

Just to get you all up to speed. I was raised in Massachusetts, my family is in Massachusetts, i went to college in Massachusetts, and i left Massachusetts. After living in L.A. for more than five years i've come back to Boston. Yes, it's cold and gray a lot of the time, but, having left i feel that i have the chance to see Boston with new eyes. I like to take pictures and a lot of them are about where i live.
